Hololive VTuber Houshou Marine (宝鐘マリン) will release a new EP titled “New World Carnival” on September 30, her label A-Sketch announced. The four-track release includes “BooooM!!!,” the ending theme for the second season of the TV anime “Kabushiki Gaisha Majirumie,” which is already available via streaming.
The EP’s lyrics were written by q*Left, with composition and arrangement by Giga, continuing Marine’s collaborations with prominent creators as she explores new sonic territory for her pirate-captain persona.
“New World Carnival” will be released in three formats: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, and a Regular Edition. Limited Edition A comes with a Blu-ray containing the music video for “BooooM!!!.” Limited Edition B ships in a box set with an original acrylic stand, a compass-shaped keychain, and a poster themed around Marine’s “treasure map.” The Regular Edition includes a first-press bonus of one random trading card out of a set of four.
Pre-orders opened at select retailers on July 11 at 18:00 JST. Customers who pre-order by July 26 at 23:59 JST will receive an early-order bonus sticker featuring a reprint of Marine’s signed jacket artwork.
Who is Houshou Marine?
Houshou Marine is a virtual YouTuber (VTuber) and member of Hololive’s third generation, debuting in 2019 under the pirate-captain persona “Marine Senchou.” She has built one of Hololive’s largest fanbases, known online as “Houshou no Ichimi” (Houshou’s Crew), and has released multiple music EPs and held solo concerts, including a two-day solo live at K-Arena Yokohama in 2024.
