Hololive’s First Official Mobile Game ‘hololive Dreams’ Set for July 23 Launch as Pre-Registrations Pass 1.3 Million

Cover Corporation and QualiArts have announced that “hololive Dreams” (ホロドリ), the first official smartphone game built around the “hololive” VTuber brand, will launch worldwide on July 23. A Steam version was also revealed alongside the mobile release, letting players enjoy the game on a larger screen with save data synced between the two platforms.

The game brings together more than 50 talents from the hololive roster. Ahead of launch, pre-registrations have already surpassed 1.3 million, triggering a reward of three “gacha tickets” for players who signed up. Cover and QualiArts have also set a further milestone: if pre-registrations reach 1.5 million, a “Kawaii hairpin” item will be added as a bonus.

To mark hololive’s ninth anniversary, a special in-game event themed around hololive Dreams is planned for around October. A fourth pre-registration campaign is also underway, running from July 3 through July 22, the day before release, and the official hololive X (formerly Twitter) account is running a hashtag campaign offering a chance to win official merchandise by lottery.

Who is hololive?

Hololive is a VTuber talent agency operated by Cover Corporation, one of the most prominent organizations in the virtual YouTuber industry. Its performers stream and upload videos as animated avatars across singing, gaming, and variety content, building large followings both in Japan and internationally through channels with millions of subscribers. “hololive Dreams” marks the brand’s first foray into an officially branded smartphone game, co-developed with QualiArts, the studio behind titles such as “Uma Musume Pretty Derby.”

With pre-registration numbers climbing and a Steam version confirmed for cross-platform play, hololive Dreams looks set to be one of the group’s biggest gaming ventures to date when it goes live on July 23.
