A shocking controversy surrounding the idol group “Pretty Chuu,” produced by popular TikTok influencer Yurinya, has ultimately been revealed as a false accusation, sending shockwaves throughout the Japanese influencer community.
The Beginning of the Scandal and the Revelation of the False Accusation
On August 1, 2025, Shuna Amamiya, a member of the idol group “Pretty Chuu” produced by Yurinya, who boasts over one million TikTok followers, accused Yurinya’s longtime partner, Taichi Saito (known as Taichi-kun), of sexual assault that allegedly led to her pregnancy.
Amamiya, formerly active as an underground idol, had joined Yurinya’s group “Pretty Chuu.” Meanwhile, Taichi-kun, a former YouTuber, had been in a relationship with Yurinya for five and a half years.
However, it was later revealed that her accusations were false. The father of the child she was pregnant with was not Saito, but her ex-boyfriend.
The Course of Events and How the Truth Emerged
Amamiya initially claimed she became pregnant as a result of sexual assault by Saito. In response, Saito offered to pay 150,000 yen (about $1,000) for medical expenses. Amamiya then took the matter to streamer Korekore for consultation.
Korekore questioned the timeline of the pregnancy and surgery, leading Amamiya to contradict herself, saying she “didn’t know whose child it was” and claiming she would obtain ultrasound photos from the hospital. This raised serious doubts about her original story.
Saito strongly denied the allegations, calling them “fabrications.” Amamiya, however, asserted that she had filed a police report and that it had been accepted.
Eventually, Saito’s lawyer requested a settlement: the payment of compensation and the withdrawal of the police report. Amamiya agreed, and a settlement was reached.
Later, when Yurinya asked Amamiya to return the 150,000 yen since the child was not Saito’s, Amamiya responded, “The police told me not to talk, I can’t return the money, and I can’t continue any further communication.”
Finally, under Korekore’s persistent questioning, Amamiya confessed: “It was actually my ex-boyfriend’s child, but I couldn’t tell Yurinya.” The false accusation was thus fully exposed.
Taichi-kun’s Shocking Tattoo Incident
Amid the scandal, Taichi-kun sparked further controversy. On August 31, he posted a photo of a tattoo on his arm that read “YURIKA,” believed to be Yurinya’s real name, along with the caption: “I’m sorry for getting this tattoo without permission.”
He explained, “This is my way of taking responsibility for betraying Yurika’s pure and innocent heart. I will love and cherish only Yurika until the day I die.”
In response, Yurinya criticized his actions through her Instagram Stories.
Yurinya’s Final Decision
Following the revelations, Yurinya stated regarding Amamiya: “Her statements constantly change, and she only makes false claims. I will now handle this matter through my lawyer. Thanks to Korekore, the truth came out.”
Although Saito’s innocence was proven, his actions during the scandal — such as the tattoo incident — appear to have damaged his chances of reconciling with Yurinya.
Social Impact and Lessons Learned
The scandal has highlighted the gravity of false accusations and the dangers of how quickly information spreads in the social media era. It revealed the real risk of innocent individuals being labeled as perpetrators and facing devastating social consequences.
It also reignited debate about the immense influence held by online personalities and the responsibility that comes with it.
Pretty Chuu’s management has announced Amamiya’s withdrawal from the group, which will inevitably affect its future activities.
This case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of verifying the authenticity of accusations in the digital age, as well as the need for caution when sharing information on powerful platforms.
Author’s Comment
This story is truly terrifying. At first, I thought, “Poor girl, she must be the victim.” But in the end, it turned out to be a complete lie. Thinking about how much damage Taichi-kun must have suffered being falsely labeled as a sexual offender is heartbreaking.
That said, getting “YURIKA” tattooed was not the best idea either. Even though his innocence was proven, such an act would only push Yurinya further away. He essentially destroyed his own chances at reconciliation.
As for Shuna Amamiya, I can’t understand why she lied. If the child was her ex’s, she should have said so from the beginning. Why drag someone completely unrelated into this? Was it just for the 150,000 yen? Or was there some kind of grudge?
If Korekore hadn’t pursued the truth, Taichi-kun might have been branded a perpetrator forever. False accusations can destroy people’s lives, and I believe they should be punished much more severely. When people pretend to be victims and lie, it makes it harder for real victims to be believed. That’s what I find most unforgivable.
