On August 6, influencer Yurinya—known for her popularity on TikTok and YouTube—appeared on stage at the opening act of the “KANSAI COLLECTION 2025 AUTUMN & WINTER” fashion event at Kyocera Dome Osaka with the idol group she produces, Pretty Chuu.
First Public Appearance Since the Scandal
Pretty Chuu is a six-member idol group with the concept of “delivering music that makes you feel cuter just by listening, in outfits packed with girly charm.” However, this performance came just days after member Shuna Amamiya announced her departure from the group on August 3.
Amamiya’s withdrawal followed allegations of sexual misconduct involving Yurinya’s former partner, Taichi Saito. In a social media post, Amamiya stated, “Of course I didn’t consent. But I couldn’t fight back,” and revealed that she had filed a police report regarding the incident.
Yurinya Steps In Wearing Pink as a Stand-In
On stage, each Pretty Chuu member wore their signature color: Chinatsu Saito in light blue, Riko Shirosaki in white, Hijiri Tanikawa in purple, Momo Mochizuki in orange, and Yua Shirao in yellow. Yurinya herself filled in for Amamiya’s pink position, taking the stage in a pastel pink outfit.
The six performers showcased a cheerful and colorful performance in pastel-themed costumes, entering to the sound of upbeat stage effects. Yurinya turned to the audience and called out, “Please keep loving Pretty Chuu from now on, too!”
Warm Support from Fans
Despite the difficult timing so soon after the scandal, the group was met with warm cheers from the audience. Although Yurinya had previously acknowledged that the reports were “mostly true” and issued an apology, her presence at the event carried a positive message and demonstrated her determination to continue with the group.
With Yurinya now joining the remaining five members, Pretty Chuu is making a fresh start. Their appearance at Kansai Collection 2025 marked an important milestone for the group moving forward.
