Japanese YouTuber Takeyaki Sho (タケヤキ翔), who has more than 2.81 million subscribers, revealed in a video published on July 29, 2026 that someone had mailed a package to him containing more than 60 pieces of used women’s underwear. She told him she planned to throw it away immediately, warning him in writing that the smell alone was disturbing and that handling it left her feeling “a level of disgust comparable to being a victim of sexual assault.” Takeyaki asked her to hold off, thinking the incident might be usable as video content, and had the package forwarded from his talent agency to his home.
On camera, Takeyaki opened the box and spread the contents across a table, with the underwear blurred out of consideration for viewers. Using disposable chopsticks to avoid direct contact, he picked up one of the pieces and confirmed it appeared to be used. “What on earth is wrong with this person? Do they seriously think I’d be happy about this? I just find it disgusting, plain and simple,” he said. When he leaned in to smell one item, he recoiled and remarked that it smelled like underwear that had been worn for “ten, twenty years.” After counting the pieces, he found there were more than 60 in total.
Following the video shoot, Takeyaki visited a local police box (koban) to consult officers on how to formally handle the matter, though no details on further legal action have been announced as of this writing.
