Zutomayo Releases New Single ‘Fig Smoke,’ Theme Song for Anime ‘Two People Smoking Behind the Supermarket’

Japanese music project Zutomayo (ずっと真夜中でいいのに。) released its new single “Fig Smoke” (イチジク煙) on July 6, alongside a music video that premiered on YouTube the same day.

“Fig Smoke” serves as the opening theme for the TV anime “Two People Smoking Behind the Supermarket” (スーパーの裏でヤニ吸うふたり), which began airing on July 9. The music video was directed by G-ko, who also helmed the video for Zutomayo’s April release “Ultra Tamashii,” with character design once again handled by Yutaka Kinuya.

Zutomayo previously contributed theme songs for the same anime alongside artist imase, according to a related report from March 2026.
