Hoshimachi Suisei and Hatsune Miku to Share First Pitch at ZOZO Marine Stadium on July 20

Virtual singer Hatsune Miku (初音ミク) and VTuber Hoshimachi Suisei (星街すいせい) will appear together at the first pitch ceremony for a Chiba Lotte Marines game on July 20, 2026, according to an announcement from Crypton Future Media. The pair will take the mound before the Marines face the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks at ZOZO Marine Stadium.

The joint appearance ties into a new commercial campaign for Lotte’s “Coolish” and “Sou” products, titled “Cold and Blue, Summer Has Come,” which began airing on July 3. In the CM, Suisei and Miku perform “Ao no Sumika,” a song written and composed by Tatsuya Kitani, chosen to reflect the blue branding shared by both products. The character art for the campaign was created by illustrator Kope Nishiki.

Beyond the first pitch ceremony, the campaign includes a themed collaboration room at the Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho and a “train jack” takeover of Tokyo Metro’s Hibiya Line, with full details posted on the campaign’s special site. Gates for the July 20 game open at 3 p.m., with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m. ahead of first pitch.
