Aya Yumeshiro (夢白あや), the former top musumeyaku (leading actress) of the Takarazuka Revue’s Yuki Gumi, or Snow Troupe, announced on July 20 that she has gotten married. She shared the news with fans through a post on her official Instagram account.
According to reports, Yumeshiro had already shared word of her marriage a day earlier, on July 19, at an event held to formally dissolve her official fan club. In her Instagram announcement, she wrote that she hopes to cherish this new bond going forward. Details about her spouse have not been disclosed.
Who is Aya Yumeshiro?
Aya Yumeshiro is a former top musumeyaku of the Takarazuka Revue, the all-female Japanese musical theater company famous for its lavish stage productions and performers who play both male and female roles. The company is organized into several performing troupes, including the Yuki Gumi, or Snow Troupe, and each troupe has a top otokoyaku (leading actor, playing male roles) paired with a top musumeyaku (leading actress) at the head of its cast. Yumeshiro held the top musumeyaku position in Yuki Gumi before graduating, or retiring, from the Takarazuka Revue in February 2026.
