Popular YouTuber Hikaru, 35, opened up about a moment that left him rattled during a date with his girlfriend, 21-year-old Kagura Kato, who is 13 years his junior. He shared the story in a video posted on July 13, 2026, while collaborating with fellow YouTuber Kajisac.
In the video, Hikaru said, “There’s one episode where I recently thought, this person is kind of scary,” before recounting a day the couple planned to visit Tokyo Disneyland. According to Hikaru, Kato tried to wear a giant pair of Tinker Bell wings she had bought at the Disney Store, explaining, “They were big enough that you’d bump into people while walking, and she strapped them on right at the front door saying, ‘Because I’m a fairy.'”
Hikaru admitted the sight caught him off guard. “I got scared,” he said. “I thought, is this person going to be okay? Walking around together like this is going to be a little tough.” At the same time, he said he also came away respecting a certain mindset of Kato’s that he felt he could learn from himself.
The conversation took place during a four-way talk session with Kajisac, real name Yuta Kajiwara, 45, one half of the comedy duo King Kong, along with his wife Yomesac, 40, joining Hikaru and Kato for the collaboration video.
