Actress Shuri (34) and dance & vocal group BE:FIRST member Ryoki Miyama (26) officially announced their marriage and pregnancy on August 29. They revealed that they have already submitted their marriage registration and that Shuri is currently expecting.

The couple released a joint statement:
“We would like to inform you that we have registered our marriage. We are also blessed with a new life, and we felt this was the right time to share the news. Our parents and those who support us are also looking forward to the birth of this child. We will continue to work together to build a peaceful and loving home. Overcoming a Complicated Background
Miyama, born in 1999 in Nagoya, has also worked as an actor, gaining attention for his performance as the protagonist’s younger brother in the NHK morning drama Tora ni Tsubasa. However, in April of this year, a magazine report revealed that he had allegedly received assets worth approximately 670,000 USD (about 100 million yen) from a former girlfriend, a YouTuber, which sparked rumors of “marriage fraud.”
Following the report, Miyama temporarily suspended his activities with BE:FIRST in May and later left his management agency. He has since announced his intention to focus solely on acting.

Shuri comes from a prominent entertainment family: her father is actor Yutaka Mizutani, and her mother is former Candies member and actress Ran Ito. She has established herself as a talented actress, most recently starring in the NHK drama Boogie Woogie.
There were reports that Mizutani initially opposed his daughter’s marriage to Miyama. However, after Shuri’s pregnancy was confirmed, discussions within the family intensified, and both families eventually gave their blessing.

In late August, reports emerged that the couple had visited a ward office in Tokyo, where Shuri was spotted with a visibly rounded belly. Although the pregnancy was widely speculated at the time, details such as the current gestational week or expected due date have not been disclosed.
