Yurinya Apologizes After Her Partner Impregnates Idol She Produced

Social Media

Yurinya, a popular influencer with over 1 million followers on TikTok, issued an apology on her Instagram account on August 1 after it was revealed that her partner, Taichi Saito (known as “Taichi”), had impregnated a member of “Pretty Chuu,” the idol group she produces.

Incident Overview

Yurinya acknowledged that the claims were largely true and stated that she would sever all ties with Saito going forward. Born on November 28, 1999, the 25-year-old TikToker gained fame not only for her viral content but also for her notably small waistline of 50.7 cm. She began her career by uploading “dance cover” videos on Nico Nico Douga as a sixth grader and has also been active as a cosplayer.

She and Saito had been in a relationship for approximately five and a half years, known online as the “Yuritai Couple.” As recently as May, she had written on Instagram, “I’m glad I dedicated my precious twenties to you,” making the news all the more shocking.

Discovery and Response

Yurinya explained that she first learned about the incident through posts circulating on social media. “I myself found out about this situation through those posts, and after confirming directly with the individuals involved, I learned that the content was mostly accurate,” she wrote.

She added that her current priority is to support the affected member both mentally and physically. “As both the producer and Saito’s partner, I deeply and sincerely apologize for the pain this has caused,” she said.

About “Pretty Chuu”

“Pretty Chuu” is an idol group produced by Yurinya, whose debut was announced in May this year. The group was formed through an audition held in 2024, with its official name and members revealed on May 13, 2025.

Harsh Criticism of Taichi Saito

Yurinya strongly condemned Saito’s actions, calling them “extremely irresponsible and despicable, both as a human being and a working adult.” She emphasized that his behavior lacked trust and respect, and firmly declared, “As a producer and as an individual, I hereby state clearly that I will have no further connection with Mr. Taichi Saito.”

Future Plans

“It was an extremely painful and difficult decision, as he was someone I trusted and spent five and a half years with,” Yurinya said, “but from now on, I want to look forward and live life on my own terms.”

She also stated that she will work to ensure all Pretty Chuu members can continue their activities safely and positively, including reviewing the group’s organizational and management structure to prevent similar incidents in the future.

This scandal is likely to reignite discussions surrounding the responsibilities of influencers as producers and the power dynamics in the idol industry.
