NIJISANJI’s Kanae to Livestream 2nd Solo Concert ‘Kodoku -Solitude-‘ Exclusively on Niconico

Dwango has announced that Kanae (叶), a VTuber under the NIJISANJI agency, will livestream his second solo concert, titled “Kodoku -Solitude-” (孤独 -solitude-), exclusively on Niconico. The show will be broadcast live from the Tokyo International Forum in Tokyo starting at 6:30 p.m. JST on July 31, 2026.

Streaming tickets went on sale on July 9 at 5:00 p.m. through Dwango Ticket and remain available until August 17 at 11:59 p.m. Viewers can choose between a standard concert ticket (6,500 yen plus a 286 yen service fee), a “Liver Camera” ticket that follows Kanae throughout the show (2,500 yen plus fees), or a venue-wide fixed camera ticket (2,000 yen plus fees). The opening portion of the concert will be free to watch for everyone, and an archive will be available until August 18 at 11:59 p.m. for ticket holders. A pre-show program hosted by Ibrahim, with reporter Hyakka Ryouran on site, will also air for free starting at 5:15 p.m. before the main broadcast.

The concert takes its theme from the word “solitude,” built around Kanae’s first full-length album, “Ai” (藍), released in February 2026. It follows his first solo concert, held in 2023 under the title “The Other Side of Midnight.” Seven fellow NIJISANJI livers who have been close to Kanae since his 2018 debut will join as guests: Kaede Higuchi, Toya Kenmochi, Yuika Shiina, Akina Saegusa, Hayato Kagami, Sara Hoshikawa and Rou Koyanagi.

Who is Kanae?

Kanae (叶) is a male VTuber who debuted with NIJISANJI, one of Japan’s largest virtual talent agencies, in May 2018. He is known for a soft, soothing speaking voice and for streaming game commentary content, often appearing on screen holding a cat-shaped cushion. Since 2022, Kanae has also worked as a recording artist signed to Lantis, the music label under Bandai Namco Music Live, releasing his first full album, “Ai,” in February 2026. His first solo concert took place in 2023, and “Kodoku -Solitude-” marks his second.

With ticket sales already underway and an archive period running into mid-August, fans unable to watch the July 31 broadcast live will still have several weeks to catch the performance on demand.
