Chanmina Closes ‘AREA OF DIAMOND’ Saga With First Tokyo Dome Concert

Chanmina (ちゃんみな) played her first-ever Tokyo Dome concert on July 12, 2026, bringing her four-chapter AREA OF DIAMOND live series to a close with a show titled AREA OF DIAMOND FINAL. The series began at Yokohama Arena in 2023 and expanded through AOD2, AOD3 and AOD4 before reaching Tokyo Dome, one of Japan’s largest concert venues.

The show opened with a galaxy-themed video before Chanmina appeared to perform “KING.” A technical glitch briefly halted the concert soon after, but she defused the moment by joking, “I made a pretty cool entrance, didn’t I?” before restarting the set with an aggressive run of “RED,” “NG” and “Sober.”

Later in the set, Chanmina performed “Bijin” (美人, meaning “beautiful person”), one of her signature songs and the thematic backbone of the AREA OF DIAMOND series, which has centered on the idea that people don’t need to be polished to have value, much like an uncut diamond.

For “Mujuryoku” (無重力, “Weightlessness”), Chanmina brought out iKON’s BOBBY as a special guest, with the pair performing an aerial flying segment above the arena floor. Chanmina told the crowd she had admired BOBBY since she was 16 years old, calling his appearance at her Tokyo Dome finale a dream come true. BOBBY congratulated her on the milestone show in return.

The concert’s later half featured Hiroto (西洸人) of the group INI, who worked as one of Chanmina’s dancers before her debut. During their duet on “Let You Go,” Hiroto read a letter reflecting on their decade-long friendship, thanking her for “teaching me what love is” and calling their shared history “inevitable.” Longtime collaborators MiQael and Genta Yamaguchi also joined her on stage ahead of the anthem “Never Grow Up.”

Chanmina closed the main set by recalling her earliest childhood memory of touching a piano keyboard and her lifelong determination to become an artist, before debuting two new songs, “NAME CARD” and “LEGEND.” She returned for an encore of “LADY” and “SAD SONG,” performed from a float that circled the arena floor so she could greet fans throughout the venue. The concert was also broadcast via the streaming service U-NEXT.
