Sato Takeru and TWICE’s Sana to Costar in Cat-Themed Romance Fantasy Film

Actor Sato Takeru (佐藤健) and TWICE’s Sana (サナ) are set to appear together on screen for the first time in an upcoming film currently going by the working title “May It Reach Your World” (냥이, provisional title), a romance fantasy built around a cat.

According to a report from Eiga Natalie published on July 9, 2026, Sato will play the lead role of Tamaki, while Sana plays Nao, described as a lively heroine. The film marks Sana’s screen acting debut.

The project is directed by Kwon Hyuk-chan, known for the dramas “Goblin” and “Boyfriend,” with the screenplay written by Nam Dae-jung, whose credits include the films “Love Reset” and “First Ride.” Production involves COCCS, the company behind the film “See Hear Love,” alongside Npio Entertainment, which has worked on the dramas “The Red Sleeve,” “King the Land,” and “Jeong-nyeon: The Star Is Born.”
