A single photo capturing a split-second dance move by Japanese YouTuber Buyer Takahashi (バイヤー高橋) has gone viral, with fans pointing out an uncanny resemblance to actress Kanna Hashimoto (橋本環奈) in the shot.
The photo was taken during a local event called the Hoyahho Festival, where Buyer Takahashi was performing on stage. A fan account posted the image on July 5, 2026, joking that the YouTuber — caught mid-skip during a timed sale for “hoya” (sea pineapple) popcorn — looked exactly like Hashimoto in that instant. Another user reposted the photo captioned simply “Kanna Hashimoto’s color,” and the comparison quickly spread on X (formerly Twitter), with replies calling it a “perfect match.”
Buyer Takahashi responded to the buzz himself, writing that he was “troubled” to be called “a once-in-a-millennium talent” — a nod to the famous nickname Hashimoto received when she was scouted as a teenager years ago.
