Ganmen Niki, who rose to prominence after appearing in the audition for the mixed martial arts entertainment event “Breaking Down,” has had his official YouTube channel permanently terminated as of August 9. The channel, which boasted around 350,000 subscribers, has been suspended, and he reported the news via social media.
Termination Due to Inappropriate Video Upload
Ganmen Niki expressed his apologies on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the termination of his channel, writing, “My YouTube account has been permanently banned. I am truly sorry to everyone who has always watched my videos. I apologize for causing trouble.”
He also explained the circumstances leading to the suspension: “I used evidence of someone having an affair in its entirety as material, and uploaded it while logged into my YouTube account. The reason was that I didn’t apply mosaic blurring.” He revealed that posting a privacy-infringing video without proper processing led to the issue.
From a Small Town to Big City Success
Ganmen Niki first gained recognition through a conversation video with well-known fight producer Mikuru Asakura. When he moved to Tokyo, he had only 20,000 yen (about 133 USD) to his name, but eventually succeeded to the point of renting an apartment with a view of Tokyo Skytree.
His YouTube channel’s growth was remarkable. In January 2025, he reported a leap from 7,600 subscribers the year before to 230,000. The number continued to grow steadily, reaching around 350,000 at the time of termination.
Popularity Through Infidelity Investigation Content
Ganmen Niki’s channel, “BT STYLE_Ganmen Niki,” focused on exposing the darker sides of society, such as infidelity investigations and financial troubles. Several videos surpassed one million views, attracting strong viewer interest.
In addition to YouTube, he had previously been active as a live streamer and TikToker, but announced in May 2024 that he would suspend activities outside of YouTube.
Distinctive Appearance and Tattoo Removal
As his name suggests, Ganmen Niki was known for having tattoos on his face, cheeks, and eyebrows that read words like “Love,” “Mikuru Asakura,” “Tik Tok,” and “breaking dream.” In 2023, he publicly shared that he had undergone surgery to remove some of them.
With the channel termination, a popular platform with around 350,000 subscribers has been lost. At present, he has not made any detailed announcements about launching a new channel or his future plans.
