DJ Waki (29), a former member of the DJ group “Repezen Foxx” (formerly Repezen Chikyu), known for their YouTube uploads and live performances, announced on August 8 that he will participate in the group’s final concert, “Repezen the Final,” scheduled for December 31 at PayPay Dome Fukuoka.
A Brief Announcement That Surprised Fans
In a video titled “About Waki’s Appearance at the Final LIVE” posted on the group’s official YouTube channel, DJ Waki simply stated, “I’ll be there~,” lightheartedly confirming his participation. In response, DJ Shacho gave a thumbs-up and replied, “Nice~,” making Waki’s appearance official.
The group is currently in the unusual position of having zero active members. Since DJ Waki’s dismissal at the end of December 2024, only the group’s name had remained. In June 2025, DJ Shacho (real name: Shunnosuke Kimoto) announced the group’s disbandment, designating the year-end performance in Fukuoka as their final stage.
DJ Foi Confirmed Participation Last Month
Regarding the final concert, DJ Shacho has been inviting former members to join. In July, DJ Foi confirmed his participation. Initially, DJ Foi accepted the offer under the condition of paying a sponsor fee of 40 million yen (about USD 267,000), and encouraged other former members to consider appearing by asking, “So, what about you guys?”
Two Former Members Still Undecided
With DJ Foi and DJ Waki’s participation confirmed, the only former members yet to decide are DJ Ginta and DJ Maru. Their decisions are expected to significantly influence the scale of the final concert.
A Complex Group History
Over the past few years, Repezen Foxx has experienced multiple member departures and dismissals. In December 2023, leader DJ Shacho temporarily disappeared, and throughout 2024, Ginta, DJ Maru, and eventually DJ Waki were all dismissed. Currently, DJ Shacho remains the sole figure managing the group as its agency head.
The final concert will be held at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka on the afternoon of December 31, followed by a countdown live show at Zepp Fukuoka that evening. These performances are expected to mark the end of Repezen Foxx. Whether all five members reunite for the final show remains the biggest question for fans.
