VTuber agency my dear. production announced on August 31 that it will end its operations and formally dissolve on October 31, 2026.
Of the talents currently affiliated with the agency, Rayura Osanai (幼井らゆら) will continue activities independently as an individual creator starting November 1. The other three talents, Iori Jun (伊織潤), Tsukimiya Kanon (月宮花音), and Nekomatsu Ferry (猫松フェリィ), will graduate as the agency closes.
According to the announcement, the agency’s official website will shut down on November 30, 2026, and its social media accounts, including its official X (formerly Twitter) account, will stop updating after October 31. The agency also stated that any merchandise already ordered, or sold through pre-orders placed by the end of October 2026, will be shipped to customers as promised.
Who is my dear. production?
my dear. production launched on March 2, 2023, as a VTuber agency established by any style Co., Ltd. Alongside managing its roster of talents, the company operated the VTuber sponsorship network “my dear.nest” and developed the fan-engagement app “my dear.”, built around allowing users to enjoy one-on-one conversations with its VTubers.
With the agency’s closure now set for the end of October, attention turns to how its departing talents will continue their careers, with Rayura Osanai already confirmed to keep streaming independently from November onward.
Author’s Comment
Another small agency folds, and honestly, this is just the reality of the VTuber gold rush right now: everybody and their cousin launched a talent agency in the last few years, and not all of them were built to last. I do think it says something nice about this one, though — they’re not ghosting their fans, they’re shipping the merch and giving everyone a clean exit instead of just vanishing overnight like some agencies have. Rayura going solo is the real story here; going independent is scary, but plenty of VTubers have thrived once they’re not splitting revenue with a company anymore. I’ll be curious to see if she keeps her old character intact or reinvents herself for act two.
